Experience
Previous: Six (6) months post-ticket experience working as a Journeyperson Cook in order to consolidate knowledge and skills.

As per Article 11.03 c), applicants without the requisite or equivalent qualifications for
this classification shall be considered for this position only when there are no qualified applicants, if they meet one of the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in the On-line Cook Upgrader program or Level One technical training of the Journeyperson Cook program, or
- Professional Cooking Certificate or Institutional Cooking Applied
Certificate, or
- Three (3) years of institutional/large scale cooking experience
The successful applicant, as a condition of maintaining employment in the position and classification, will need to demonstrate she/he has embarked on or enrolled in a program or process that will result in her/him obtaining the requisite or equivalent qualifications as noted in LOU#22 b) v) within four (4) years of the hire date.
