Facility: Saskatoon City Hospital
Job Description: The incumbent is an integral part of the transdisciplinary ABI Outreach Team. The primary focus is to research, develop and coordinate injury prevention intiatives and to research, develop and facilitate the dissemination of resource materials regarding the mechanism of brain injury, sequellae and coping strategies for survivors of mild brain injury and their families. The incumbent reports to the manager of the Sask. Central ABI Outreach Team and works collaboratively with the Provincial ABI Education and Prevention Coordinator and other ABI Prevention and Health Educators in north, south and central Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications

Valid drivers license and the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially.
Current licensure with applicable provincial licensing body
Requires an undergraduate degree in occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing or other health care related discipline, education or health care administration
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of professionals, public agencies and families
Requires initiative, sound judgment and excellent organizational skills in order to plan and coordinate information gathering from several sources
