Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is interested in gaining experience in theatre and touring. The Production Assistant will assist the Production Manager with all aspects of pre-production, including technical and the summer tour. You will contribute ideas an engage in the planning process. You will assist the Production Manager in ensuring that all touring and venue requirements are met. You will assist the sound and lighting technicians and you will help with set design and construction. You will assist with management of the summer tour cast including adherence to company rules and regulations. You will prepare show orders and microphone mapping, assist with preparation for rehearsals and preparation and dissemination of general information. You will have the opportunity to assist the sound and lighting technicians. You will co-ordinate backstage activities during performances. You will assist with the repair, purchase and maintenance of stage equipment, sets and props among other duties. You will have the opportunity to travel the province and learn more about Saskatchewan.

You will have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals in a performing arts organization that has been offering opportunities to talented young Saskatchewan performers and providing family entertainment to people across the province for 38 years.
