Description

The Rider Store, Grasslands is looking for an individual who is passionate about customer service and is looking to be a part of a Champion organization!  If you enjoy working in a team, problem solving, and are success driven, Rider Nation needs you! Reporting to the Retail Store Manager, this role will support management in the daily operations of our retail merchandise outlet.  Fan experience and customer service are a key focus to maintain and support sales and strategic growth.  Shift Leaders are continuously involved in the training, coaching, and providing feedback to retail associates to meet sales budgets and key performance indicators. If you are looking for an opportunity to expand on your skills and abilities while contributing to an upbeat and positive work environment, this is the role for you!

Major Responsibilities:
-Support store operations in the absence of store management
-Be a Brand Ambassador by representing the Club positively
-Support the Rider Way Fan Experience and coach store associates in opportunities
-Provide regular feedback to store associates and discuss success and opportunities
-Communicate with all levels of Saskatchewan Roughrider employees in a positive and professional manner
-Provide regular and timely training, coaching, and feedback to all store associates
-Communicate and make available information to store associates regarding Club initiatives
-Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-1-2 years related retail experience in a high service environment
-Ability to work independently and seek positive solutions to problems
-Ability to communicate to diverse groups of people
-Demonstrated motivational abilities in staff motivation, team building and effective training techniques
-Availability to work irregular hours and work schedules, including game days
