Description

Reporting to the Manager of Compliance and Surveillance, the Surveillance Monitor is primarily responsible for monitoring activities of guests and staff at Casino Regina and Casino Moose Jaw in compliance with policies and procedures. This includes identifying breaches of SaskGaming policies and procedures, criminal activities, viewing and reviewing gaming and non-gaming situations, analyzing information, making decisions and taking appropriate action.

In this position, you are responsible for monitoring all activities within the two casino locations to ensure integrity of the games and protection of assets of SaskGaming. To effectively accomplish this task, Surveillance Monitors receive specialized training to familiarize themselves with the Table Games and to enhance their knowledge to ensure all operations are within policies and procedures. It is important to have investigatory skills and to be customer oriented in this job as you will respond to requests from other departments with respect to performing mini audits and video reviews as required.

Please note: Current Surveillance employees may not transfer to Gaming positions on the casino floor or any other position requiring the handling or escorting of casino funds in the same casino after leaving the surveillance department.  Gaming positions, on the casino floor, are defined as any position within the Bank/Cage, Live Games, Slots/VLT and Security departments.
