Position Summary:
Our ideal candidate enjoys designing and creating impactful technical content. You will be creating technical content by working with subject matter experts, and others on the team. In this position, you will support AGI's transition from print to online visual content for product manuals as we upgrade our digital offering to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Use CAD based software to develop rich visual online and print content for technical illustrations and animations (drawings, schematics, etc) of equipment to support a variety of technical documents (assembly, operation, maintenance, and parts manuals).
Produce media used for final illustration development such as black and white line art, photographs, and CAD output.
Liaise with engineers and sales personnel to determine document scope, content, purpose, and audience for product manuals.
Maintain electronic files in accordance with departmental requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel may occasionally be required.

Technical Qualifications:
New grads and up to five years of experience in a similar role or equivalent training or background.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Focused with a strong sense of urgency to complete high value project tasks.
Strong ability to stay on-task and follow assigned projects through to completion.
Previous experience working with assembly, operator, and parts manuals is an asset, especially in an agricultural manufacturing company.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or SolidWorks Composer is an asset.
Experience with Arbortext, XML, or similar systems is an asset.
Experience in with Adobe Illustrator or similar software is an asset.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with and understand the needs of personnel at AGIs divisions.
Co-operative, team player, able to follow company procedures, instructions, and guidelines.
