Facility: SOUTHWEST INTEGRATED HEALTHCARE FACILITY
Job Description: The Executive Assistant (EA) is expected to work as a team and to provide support to other portfolios as required, including for vacation and sick leave coverage. The E.A. provides an optimum standard and efficiency of administrative support services for the Directors and their portfolios. A key responsibility is transcribing, formatting and designing various Health Region documents, requiring proficiency in speed, accuracy and vocabulary. The Incumbent will provide good working relationships (involving tact, courtesy and respect) when interacting with other departments, agencies, the public). Confidential strategic administrative support for Directors level within the Cypress Health Region.


Required Qualifications

Office Education certificate
Valid Class 5 Driver's license
Experience
Administrative three to five years experience in an office setting.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must demonstrate organizational and leadership ability including accountability, ability to assume responsibility and work independently.
Must show sound judgement and initiative.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Advanced computer skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with many individuals and groups including staff, students, unions and the general public
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Effective time management and organizational skills

Shifts 0800-1630
Expected Start Date: June 17, 2018
Expected Up To Date: June 17, 2019
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
37.50 hours per 1 week rotation: 5 shifts
