Our Day Porters do a bit of everything to keep our business running cleanly and smoothly. Our porters work to make sure that all types of buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. Staff spends their days removing floor scuffs, sweeping of corners, spot mopping, vacuuming as needed, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms and clinical areas. Our porter will also use the communication book to structure their duties at each specific location. In addition, porters might run errands for office, deliver items, move stock, or anything else that our clients might need.

- Security and Safety
- Must provide Criminal Record Check (bondable)
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver license and access to reliable transportation
- WHMIS 2015 & SCOT certification an asset
- Boom lift certification an asset
- Window cleaning experience an asset
- Waxing/Stripping floors an asset
- INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS
Specific Skills
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen/bathroom fixtures and appliances etc.
- Clean/Dust office furniture, store fixtures and shelving
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Sweep, mop and wash floors
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
- Wash windows (exterior & interior), walls and ceilings
