Performs all warehousing functions associated with inbound and outbound stock, direct charge orders for Maintenance Repair and Operation (MRO) and capital materials. Functions should be performed to ensure transactional accuracy, quality and accuracy of procured goods and to safeguard parts to ensure reliability in use. Position requires specific knowledge of hazardous materials, rigging/proper lifting techniques, material handling and stored energy in loads. All activities will be performed to ensure full compliance with internal controls requirements including all requirements for key controls.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily warehouse functions including receiving, issuing, stocking, kitting, and staging. Inventory activities such as inventory cycle counts, and restock site vending machines as required. Use of mobile devices during these activities will be required.
- Loading/offloading vendor, contractor and LTL freight trucks. Offloading will include chemical reagents, fuels, fabrications and other materials that may include rigging.
- Use of mobile equipment with in a warehouse environment and mine field truck/deliveries.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts. Provide customer service and operations support.
- Practice and abide by all safety procedures and job plans. Additional duties as assigned.
- Required technical knowledge of production equipment and maintenance practices.
Certifications: Forklift, Zoom Boom
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Maximo familiarity preferred.
Other Specialized Skills & Abilities:
- Required to be qualified at rigging and hand communication signals when crane is used.
- WHIMIS, dangerous goods and operator training for departments mobile equipment.
- Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, back ground check, physical, functional capacity examination will be required prior to job start.
