This is a 1.0 FTE temporary position commencing August 27, 2018 until March 15, 2019. The successful applicant will work in partnership between Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools and Saskatoon Tribal Council.
Areas of responsibilities include:
To assess students speech, language and communication skills
To develop appropriate programs to assist students in acquiring communication skills
To provide support for classroom teachers, parents and educational assistants in program delivery
To provide limited direct service to individuals, small groups, or whole classrooms as deemed appropriate
To work with a team of Speech Language Pathologists in providing in-service opportunities and professional development for staff
Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following qualifications:
Masters degree in the area of responsibility
Eligible for licensing by the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Eligible for a Professional B Teachers Certificate
Strong Cultural Competency
Have a valid drivers license
Have a strong interpersonal and communication skills
Well planned, organized and flexible
Have previous work experience as a member of an inter-displinary team

Working with kindergarten to grade 8 students with a focus on kindergarten to grade 3 students
