Facility: Royal University Hospital
Job Description: Reporting directly to the manager, Primary Health, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to children with speech language disorders who have been referred for services.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.

Previous related experience with children and families is preferred (related experience includes assessing and treating children with speech, oral-motor, feeding and language delays and disorders). Experience working with children individually and in small groups is an asset. Hanen training is preferred. Valid Saskatchewan license and access to a vehicle are required.
