Description

Visionpool Business Services is hiring a PROJECT MANAGER who will work with the Enterprise Project Management Office to ensure strategic alignment; appropriate project management framework and approach are applied.

Responsibilities:
Manage project management areas (scope, time, cost, risk, quality etc.) of the projects
Work with subject matter experts to successfully scope and deliver the projects
Produce all internal project team communications according to the communication plan and as required
Apply Project Management best practices within the current project management environment
Work with communication and change management designates to create stakeholder-specific communications throughout the life-cycle of the project
Identify and prepare mitigation strategies for project risks
Ensure project delivery is fit for use within the organization (the organization can adopt the change as intended and all supports are in place)
Ensure project work includes development of implementation supports for the changes including training, guides, and documentation
Work with Change Management designate to monitor stakeholder response to project issues and be able to respond accordingly
Monitor and report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders
Manage multiple concurrent projects as required.

Qualifications:
Familiar with Government or NGO work environments, cultures and behaviors
Certified Project Management Professional or have related equivalent training
Be a strong communicator with experience as a facilitator of a multi-disciplinary team
Be proficient with project life cycle and project management terminology
Be capable of communicating to a project team with limited project management experience
Be familiar with change management methodologies (ex. PROSCI)
