Thank you.
If you always wanted to start a tech company but you didnt know where to begin or have the resources to do it, this is your opportunity! Weve spent the last 4 years developing a world class hardware and software product. Now were poised for considerable growth. As CEO I am looking to bring on a technical partner specializing in hardware to help me lead ORA into the next stage.
What is ORA? ORA is a personal safety device that is not only smart but looks good too. Its ideal for people who live or work alone or in unsafe conditions.
Being part of a start-up means you will take a strategic and leadership role, and also have to roll up your sleeves as the main technical asset - at least until we build out the team, which youll be a part of selecting. From developing different codebases to resolve issues, strategic planning, and driving new initiatives, youll get a full perspective of running a start-up.
This isnt going to be easy. You will need to understand and communicate the ORA stack with stakeholders and integration partners; provide guidance and recommendations for integrations. Plus identify scalability issues and pre-emptively resolve them. Youll also liaise with customers and manufacturers from time to time.
If you are up for the challenge this could be the most rewarding thing you do in your career. Both personally and economically. There will be an opportunity to share in stock options.
So, if you have the technical chops, a strong business acumen and a great attitude, I would love to talk to you. Here is our entire stack, no worries that your focus is hardware, we fill the gap in the other areas:
Linux box hosted on Azure, deployed as Docker containers
Python and Flask with MongoDB
Native Android app (Java/Android Studio)
Native iOS app (Objective C)
Firmware in C on Keil using Bluetopia Bluetooth stack
Website and e-commerce on Shopify
