Description

SUMMARY

The Dispatcher will work in a fast paced, ever changing environment to organize the equipment and personnel required for each job to maximize efficiency while exceeding our exceptional safety and service standards. As the main point of contact between our operations team and our customers, the Dispatcher will have exceptional communication skills with an eye for detail and understanding of the work performed within the Vacuum Truck and Industrial Services (VTIS) division.

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for booking personnel and equipment to complete work for external and internal clients
Management of all inbound and outbound VTIS customer calls including the scheduling of customer call-ins based on scheduling parameters
Manage equipment maintenance requirements and update Fleet Maintenance on changes to equipment availability
Assist the personnel management of the VTIS staff including booking of hotel rooms, managing employee training requirements for specific jobs and daily communication with all operators
Generate all service orders and ensure Operators have all the required details to complete their assigned tasks effectively
Review log book hours to ensure compliance with regulations and maximum safety and efficiency
Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to provide clear, detailed instructions
Waste management industry experience an asset
Ability to multi-task and problem solve in fast-paced, high stress situations
Passion for working in a fast paced environment
Business acumen with a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement
