Description

TW Commodities a division of ETG Commodities Inc. is looking for a Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Duties:
1.    Maximize milling efficiency in the plant on a daily basis by focusing on adjustment and operation of cleaning, splitting and another mill equipment
2.    Troubleshoot equipment, optimize the mill flow sheet, and solve flow problems.
3.    Daily monitoring and follow up for milling efficiencies and product quality for shift
4.    Continuously monitoring the splitting operations throughout the shift.
5.    Assist as needed within the facility in other areas, including but not limited to load out, bulk load out and packaging.
6.    Maintain cleaning schedule using master sanitation schedule. Keeping feed tote and supply area clean and free of damaged product.
7.    Adjust critical machinery like color sorter and huller to get good final yield.
8.    Understand the required flow of water and oil and keep monitoring and recording to avoid any quality issues.
9.    Follow maintenance policies and procedures. This includes employee handbook, good manufacturing practices, food safety, HACCP and any other designated company procedures.
10.    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
11.    Other duties as required.
12.    Work in compliance with ETGs Commodity Inc. Occupational Health and Safety Policy.

Employment requirements:
1.    Mechanical engineer or equivalent related experience.
2.    1-2 years of management experience in splitting plant for pulses.
3.    Strong communication and interpersonal skills and time management capabilities with the ability to multitask.
4.    Organized and strong attention to detail.
5.    Strong Sense of initiative and self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team.
