Description

We currently have an exciting entry-level career opportunity for a Full-Time 12 month contract as a Market People Lead in the city of Saskatoon. Reporting directly to the Senior Market People Lead, the People Lead is responsible for leading and managing the activities of the restaurants in order to drive exemplary hospitality and elevation of the guest experience. Key Responsibilities:
Supporting restaurant teams, in managing the development and implementation of restaurant-specific people and marketing initiatives that are in line with the market strategy.
Supporting with hiring & selection and training of Guest Experience Leaders
Consistently demonstrates a passion for the development of Management Staff by coaching, teaching, challenging and helping people learn from their mistakes (Develops highly visible and effective managers).
Assist in executing people programs at a high level, makes refinements as needed, and communicating changes to appropriate stakeholders.
Values employees by enforcing and educating crew and management staff on all appropriate personnel policies and labor laws, and security and safety procedures and ensuring safety and performance records are well maintained.

Additional Qualifications:
2-3 years of related work experience either in full service/fast casual restaurant or hospitality industry (previous McDonalds experience is an asset).
1-2 years of human resources experience and/or equivalent combination of related education and experience
Strong communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong PC proficiency including MS word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
Ability to remain efficient and extremely organized while handling a high volume of work.
