Description

The Board of Directors of the Prairie Dreams Learning Centre Inc.(PDLC), is inviting applications for a daycare director to oversee and manage our non-profit organization.  PDLC Inc. is located in Mclean, SK, a  growing community, located 35 minutes east of Regina, on Highway 1.  The Daycare Centre Director will oversee the operation of approximately 48 full time/part time child care positions and 7 full time staff.  Are you a mature, enthusiastic individual?  Do you have a vision to create an inviting, positive space, with exceptional leadership skills?  PDLC would encourage applicants to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.
The Executive Director shall have experience and proven knowledge of early learning and child care and lead the daycare through child exploration and growth. They will be responsible for the strategic and operational needs of the staff as well as fostering both the relationships of the parents and community partnerships. The Executive Director will also administer the policies of the Board by developing and implementing procedures which meet the goals and objectives of the centre.
Candidates will be required to provide a current criminal record search, including a vulnerable sector check as well First Aid and CPR. Candidates will also need to further ECE training requirements to ECE III certification, if not already attained.
