Description

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our customer to recruit an Executive / Personal Assistant to support a Vice President in Saskatoon.

The Role:

Maintaining daily schedules including internal meetings and conferences, setting-up video conferences and client meetings for leadership
Coordinating travel schedules and booking details
Accompanying the Vice President on trips to provide admin support through meetings
Organizing meetings, events, interviews, and appointments
Screening letters, emails, and phone calls and responding to them on behalf of leadership
Preparing and submitting bi-monthly accurate expense reports for leaders and reconciling statements
Drafting presentations, correspondence and reports
Assisting with file maintenance, photocopying, scanning, mail, trouble shooting, and meeting planning
Handling any personal errands requested

The Ideal Candidate:

Minimum of five years of relevant work experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders
Completion of post-secondary education in Administration or Business
Demonstrated track record of sound judgment and professionalism
High degree of interpersonal and professional competency
Demonstrated high level of discretion and dedication to confidentiality
Solid business acumen; able to make timely decisions and take action
Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, flexible in terms of hours/responsibilities, and able to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines
Ability to be away for 1-2 weeks at a time periodically throughout the year
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer service focused with excellent phone etiquette
Competency and ease of communication with senior leadership and their teams
Advanced skill with Microsoft Office suite
