Prairie Co-op Ltd. is recruiting for a Full Time Lumber Manager for the Home Centre located in Melville Sask.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of lumber products and the ability to estimate building projects of all sizes in a timely manner. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. They will be able to build lasting relationships with customers. This position is responsible for sales, margin, expenses and inventory of the Lumber Department. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years' recent experience in a management role. Completion of a recognized Construction Estimating Program would be considered an asset.

The Lumber manager is responsible for overseeing the Lumber Department and yard staff. The ideal applicant must have strong communication skills, ability to lead and motivate team members, and excel in performance management. They should have the ability to delegate and organize team members and be approachable to team members and guests.
