Prairie Co-operative Limited operates 12 locations in the communities of Melville (3), Lemberg, Fort QuAppelle (2), Lipton, Cupar, Strasbourg, Ituna, and Kelliher (2). Our mission is to provide quality products and service in a sustainable manner to all our members and communities.

Prairie Co-op is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Home Centre team in Melville.

RESPONSIBILITIES    
Prepare and provide accurate estimates on projects for customer and contractors
Supervise and direct the building material needs for construction projects
Be familiar with all lines of merchandise within the department
Initiate, prepare and place orders for replenishment of merchandise with approved suppliers
Set direction and supervise staff on a daily basis
Assume the overall responsibilities of the Lumber manager in his absence
Assist in the general duties of the department

REQUIREMENTS    
Ability to work independently
Recognized materials estimating certificate or 2-3 years experience working in a Home Centre is an asset
Available to work a variety of shifts
Strong communication skills
