Prairie Co-operative Limited operates 12 locations in the communities of Melville (3), Lemberg, Fort QuAppelle (2), Lipton, Cupar, Strasbourg, Ituna, and Kelliher (2). Our mission is to provide quality products and service in a sustainable manner to all our members and communities.
Prairie Co-op is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Administration Office team in Melville!
DUTIES:
- Ensure outstanding courteous customer service is provided in the department at all times.
- Be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
- Be responsible for adherence to and enforcement of Prairie Co-op policies and procedures.
- Complete tasks as assigned in Accounts Receivable, Cash-ups, Member Equity and Payables.
- Assist and support the team in annual audit requirements.
- Process data and file invoices and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner
- Perform various office duties as assigned, such as typing, copying, filing, etc.
- Be familiar with and adhere to Prairie Co-op policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Come to work with a positive, professional approach, appearance and attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills, self-motivated & strong initiative
- Ability to work a regular work day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Computer Training and/or experience required
- Ability to deal effectively with the public
- Grade 12
- Completed a 2 year Business Administrative Certificate Program
- 2 years experience in an accounting environment
- Be Bondable
