SST Trucking is a long haul company and provides flat deck carrier service to BC, MB,AB,SK. As a record clerk, candidate have to do following duties:
Keep track of and compiling data on company vehicles, gas cards, equipment
Record all driver profile: License & driving record
Manage record of drivers log books
Keep record of WCB in all provinces.
Manage record of maintenance as well as the registration and safety documents of all vehicles
Record of accident and conviction reports(may have to talk to SGI to register claims & communicate with adjuster to send required documents)
Answer phone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages. Book truck loading and unloading appointments.
Other work-related duties as assigned
Education required:
Completion of one year certificate in business administration.
Or
Minimum 1 year of experience in office management.
Knowledge and Skills required:
Fluent English Speaking is must.Speaking Punjabi/Hindi will be an asset.
Knowledge of office administration and book keeping procedures
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy & confidentiality concerning all information about company
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Excellent in typing
Excellent letter writing and problem solving skills
Capable of operating various office equipment like fax machines, scanners, telephones, printer and photocopier
Capable of handling difficult situations in a perfect manner
Ability to work independently and as a team
Demonstrated attention to detail
