We are seeking an experienced Superintendent for our Saskatoon District office

Responsibilities:
    Creates, maintains and executes the project plan and schedule.
    Supervises and coordinates all construction activities.
    Supervises, directs, coaches and trains Assistant Superintendents, Project Coordinators, Field Coordinators, Surveyors, students, hourly Foreman and hourly staff assigned to project.
    Creates site specific plans and procedures; ensures the implementation of PCLs Safety Program to create a safe work environment throughout the jobsite; adheres to the safety and record keeping requirements.
    Ensures project materials and workmanship meets the project Quality Standards and Design requirements.
  
Qualifications:
    Minimum of 10 years experience in field supervision.
    Enrollment in the Gold Seal program is an asset.
    Intermediate knowledge of the construction industry specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures.
    Ability to visualize the entire project and anticipate constructability issues and embed solutions in the construction plans and schedules.
    Ability to lead and asses trade performance on the job.
    Recognizes constructability issues and address them in a timely manner.
    Ability to apply basic engineering principles to construction challenges.
    Creates basic schedule, monitor and forecast resources for optimum efficiency.
    Understanding of the project schedules critical path.
    Knowledge of safety principles/ procedures/legislation.
