We are seeking a team-oriented individual for the position of Junior Purchasing Agent to join our team in our Yorkton, SK manufacturing facility for a one (1) year term (with possibility of extension).

The Junior Purchasing Agent is responsible for sourcing out and purchasing high quality raw materials and designated services for the manufacturing facilities. This position will work with other Purchasing Agents to establish quantities of inventory required for various departments and work with vendors to ensure value, quality, and delivery performance. The Junior Purchasing Agent will enter data into the purchasing system and complete all necessary documentation.

Qualifications:
- Grade XII education (or equivalent) supplemented by courses related to purchasing or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience
- Four (4) years of purchasing experience would be an asset
- Must possess the ability to negotiated and make sound business decisions
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Baan (or other enterprise resource planning software systems)
