Parkland College is currently accepting applications for a permanent, full-time Administrative Assistant at our Yorkton Campus.
The Opportunity:
The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for coordinating and supervising the delivery of clerical and / or reception support across campus locations. This position performs a variety of office duties relating to planning, organizing, delivering and evaluating clerical and / or reception staff in assigned campus locations.
This position will be responsible for scheduling, training, supervision, monitoring of performance, and resolving difficulties relating to clerical operations. This position will be responsible for overall exam invigilation services.
Qualifications:
-Relevant two-year post-secondary Business diploma or equivalent. This education would provide knowledge of office procedures, computer applications, common business practices and communications, basic marketing, human resources and customer service.
-One year recent and relevant supervisory experience in an office environment or office experience. This experience would typically provide skills such as interpersonal skills, communication skills, time management skills, and routine office computer functions and applications.
-Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
