Job Description: The Medical Teaching Unit Nurse Coordinator, under the direction of the Clinical Manager of Labour and Delivery, is primarily accountable for the orientation, system navigation and coordination of Obstetrics/Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students to the Maternal Services Units. The Medical Teaching Unit Nursing Coordinator facilitates a high quality of patient care services through the promotion of an excellent learning experience for Obstetrical/Family Medicine and Medical Students.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Current CPR Certification
Current BCLS certification
Experience
Requires a minimum five (5) years recent clinical experience in perinatal nursing with a focus in Labour & Delivery. Demonstrated skill in teaching staff/patients. Experience in research activities, quality monitoring and evaluation.
