Job Description: 3sHealth is seeking a collaborative and innovative leader with hands-on experience in benefit programs and administration services. Reporting to the Director, Employee Benefits, the Manager is responsible for delivering benefit services relating to enrolment, eligibility, benefit administration, claims payment and customer support to over 80 health care employers, 44,000 active plan members and their families, and 10,000 retirees. Together with the Director, Employee Benefits, the Support Services Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the 10 Employee Benefit Plan Trusts.  

Working with service providers, benefit consultants, actuaries, and legal counsel, the Manager will analyze, research, prepare, and make recommendations to the Board of Trustees on all matters relating to the financial management and administration of the Trusts.  

The Manager is responsible for a team providing support services to the Employee Benefits team. The Manager is directly accountable for meeting the established service standards and fulfilling the requirements of the administrative services agreement between the Board of Trustees and 3sHealth. The Support Services Manager is responsible for the engagement and collaboration of the Employee Benefits team. Using lean principles, the Manager will lead and empower the team to continuously improve the quality and delivery of our service.

Additionally, the Support Services Manager serves as an ambassador for the Employee Benefit Plans through presentations and education events for customers, partners, committees, the Board of Trustees and other key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Certification as a Lean Leader through the Saskatchewan Health Care Management system, or willingness to obtain certification, is required.For more information on this job, please visit the employer's website.
