Description

We are seeking a full-time crusher operator to join our aggregate production team.

Emshay has been in business for over 15 years. We crush and deliver top quality aggregate products to help companies complete their roadwork, industrial, commercial and residential projects.  Our shop is located near Caronport, SK and our primary work sites surround Moose Jaw, SK and Regina, SK (generally within 1 hour of these cities).

Role Overview

You will be involved in all aspects of the aggregate crushing process. You will operate a rock truck, a wheel loader, a skid steer, the crusher control tower and assist with crusher spread set up/tear down, maintenance and clean up.

Role Responsibilities

- Operate a wheel loader to feed material into the crusher, screener, or wash plant and/or load tractor trailer units at various aggregate locations
- Run the crusher control tower with high attention to detail to ensure maximum aggregate production levels are achieved
- Perform routine maintenance on crushing equipment (e.g. shovelling, greasing, fluid checks, bearing changes, belt repairs, screen changes, etc.)
- Notify foreman of any equipment malfunctions

The Requirements

- Minimum of 9 months of experience operating a wheel loader and working on a crushing crew
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence (transportation to and from job sites is provided)
- Must meet safety requirements and adhere to safety policies
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Capable of using technology in the workplace (e.g. loader scales, mobile apps for safety program, equipment maintenance records and time entry)
- Desire to learn and apply new skills
- Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen
