Description

Great Plains College is looking for  Continuing Care Assistant Instructor(s).

Duties    
The Instructor has a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
Organize and deliver instruction;
Work cooperatively in an interdependent team environment;
Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment for students;
Maintain records of student achievement, attendance, or other information as required, and report such information according to established procedures;
Continually assess the skills, and monitor the learning and behaviors of students enrolled in the program and provide information to these students regarding the appropriateness and/or adequacy of their performance;

Education and Experience
- Baccalaurate Degree in Nursing
- Eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
-Minimum two years recent and relevant work experience that must include experience in gerontology and long term care

Skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal and presentation
Proven organizational Skills
Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Understanding of the principles of adult education
Demonstrates valuing diversity
