Description

SSPC is a progressive non-profit organization located in Saskatoon.  The vision of SSPC is to support and empower families and build a strong, inclusive and healthy community. The Parent Aide program provides in-home support to parents who struggle with parenting.
The Program Director of the Parent Aide program is responsible for the management and success of the program and implementing the continuous improvement goals of the agency, with a focus on data driven, outcome-based performance. The Program Director will embrace a vision of family-centred service and have a clear understanding of the systemic barriers and impacts of colonization that affect many families who struggle.
Responsibilities
Create and ensure high, professional standards in our service to Saskatoon families;
Ensure our service delivery is effective and focused on our goals;
Ensure adherence to government contracts and reporting requirements;
Collaborate with the ED on continuous improvement measures;
Assign duties, train and supervise all staff, including their performance in the field, and support staff to resolve complex problems;
Develop evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements;
Regular and accurate reporting on the operations and success of the program; and
Create and maintain positive working relationships with partners  
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Social Work, Public  Administration or equivalent;
Experience working directly with families who face barriers;
Proven experience in a managerial position;
Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods;
Adept at data collection and analysis;
Working knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics; and
Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills
