Job summary: The Sanitation Officer is responsible for the daily management of Sanitation & Cleaning services at our mill in Bruno.
- Ensures removal of waste and recycling from facility
- Plans, organizes and manages an effective sanitation program in the mill
- Serves as company resource person on all sanitation matters
- Mental and visual ability to identify various dirt/dust accumulation areas and states of cleanliness
- Works closely with the Plant Operations Manager to be able to reach established daily goals
- Must be willing to take the role of a Sanitation supervisor when required
- Sweep and squeegee floors
- Work with the team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Basic math, reading and writing skills are required. Able to follow and execute both written and verbal instructions
- Candidates must have safe work practices, excellent work ethics, be reliable and able to work unsupervised. Must know how to drive a forklift and lift 25 kg weight repeatedly
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts
