Our busy cylinder and machining repair and service business requires a Customer Service Advisor to serve the needs of incoming customers. Our customers include both businesses and individuals who need machining, rework, fabrication, and parts for their cylinders & equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling all customer inquiries and needs for parts & service (including quotations);
- Coordinating work orders with the shop employees to ensure customer orders are filled on a timely basis. This includes providing order details, managing inventory / purchasing needs, and arranging shipping or customer pickup);
- Complete daily transactions in QuickBooks (order entry, purchase orders, receiving & customer payments);
- Overseeing the front retail area to promote sales and ensure shelves are full and products are neatly displayed.
This individual must be very comfortable working independently and within a team, in a very positive manner, with a goal of serving customers and continuing to grow the business.
This position is best suited to those with past experience in a customer/ technical services type of environment, with hands-on experience or knowledge in machining/machine shop operations, parts, agricultural equipment, fluid power (ex: cylinders, hoses, etc.), maintenance & repair services or similar type operations.
Experience with computers is a necessity. Knowledge of QuickBooks software is an asset, but not a requirement. We will train individuals with a strong customer service ethic and background suited to serving customers in a retail service environment.
