Description

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. (KPCL) is hiring experienced surveyors for work secured around the Lanigan, Saskatoon, Warman/Martensville, Estevan, Belle Plaine, Colonsay and Coronach areas

Applicants must have a valid driver license and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test

Key duties include:
A. Actively participating, promoting and engaging others in a culture of safety amongst employees, subcontractors and clients
B. With direction from the General Manager of Survey completing survey work using Trimble GPS and Total Station equipment, interpreting construction drawings and implementing designs in the field, reviewing designs and as built survey data for submissions, and tracking construction progress through monthly quantities for payment
C. Setting up, transferring and verifying electronic design models for GPS enabled construction equipment using Caterpillar Accugrade/Trimble Grade Control
D. Monitoring and reporting on project progress including daily reports, construction schedules, delays, and damages
E. Adapting to meet changing priorities, and helping resolve issues and concerns arising in the field on a timely basis
F. Communicating information clearly and effectively to all co-workers, foreman and Superintendents
G. Listening and carrying out instructions diligently, and speaking up when instructions are unclear, not understood or the hazards are not identified or mitigated
H. Willingness to travel between jobsites and work overtime when required
I. Any other duties as may be assigned by Employer

Preference is given to candidates with previous civil construction administration experience

Other:
