Summary

The Shop Labourer will be required to perform various tasks throughout the day including but not limited to emptying, sorting and preparing bins for delivery and operating a forklift and/or skid-steer. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a face-paced environment with the ability to plan ahead, and organize equipment and tasks for maximum productivity. Skid-steer and Forklift experience is required for this position.

Must be available to work an afternoon/evening shift.

Job Duties
Empty, stockpile, sort, wash/clean, and prepare organic compost bins for delivery
Load and unload bins from transport units
Maintain and operate wash bay, including washing vacuum trucks
Maintain shop and yard cleanliness
Ensure safety is upheld at all times
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Class 5 drivers license (abstract required)
Skidsteer and Forklift experience
Self-starter with strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
