Job Description: Reporting to Regional Director of Ambulance Services, or their designate, the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service; and provides assessment, treatment and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with the Saskatchewan Ambulance Act (Department of Medical Services, Saskatchewan Health  B.L.S. Protocols), and established policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 4 drivers license
Grade 12
CMA accredited Pre-Hospital Care Program at the Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP/EMT-P) level
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the ACP/EMT-P level
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Effective oral and written communication skills

Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory or designated holiday is recognized during that period.
Expected Start Date: July 6, 2018
Expected Up To Date: December 16, 2018
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call
672.00 hours per 16 week rotation
