Description

An exciting Full Time Contract (1-5 years) NDT Inspector position based in Saskatoon has become available in a business with 50 years experience in meeting the energy needs of Saskatoon.

An NDT Inspectors responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Provide quality management of plastic fusion and the associated, analysis and resolution of integrity related problems. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Field Inspections of plastic fusions using ultrasound test equipment (provided);
- Shop inspections for plastic fusions completed during fusion training; and
- Plastic NDT program development incorporating lessons learned during inspections;

In addition to the above, it is expected that the NDT Inspector candidate will:
- Assist in the development of plans and business cases to optimize integrity management programs; and
- Identify opportunities and provide advice for improvements within system integrity and associated line groups and for field processes;

The requirements of an NDT Inspector include:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Quality Management Certificate
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
Experience with the following would be beneficial:
- Plastic Pipeline Construction
- Software (MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint, ESRI GIS)
- Ultrasound test equipment
