Description

Adecco is currently hiring for a contractual Distribution System Integrity Engineer in Regina, Saskatchewan. To be considered for this Distribution System Integrity Engineer role, you must have a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Systems, Environmental Systems, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.

Distribution System Integrity Engineer Responsibilities:

Provide technical support by applying engineering principles in the investigation, analysis and resolution of integrity related problems. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Plan leak survey requirements and manage leak survey data, which will include working with Operational staff and leak survey contractors;
- Statistical analysis of incidents to identify trends with regards to threat types, magnitude of consequences and incident frequency;
- Assist in the preparation of construction tenders, and annual service contracts;
- Development of annual replacement plans/programs based in risk evaluations; and
- Manage and report on assigned projects to ensure projects proceed safely and according to planned schedules and budgets.

In addition to the above, it is expected that the candidate will:

- Lead and/or assist in the development of plans and business cases to optimize integrity management programs;
- Identify opportunities and provide advice for improvement within system integrity and associated line groups and for field processes; and
- Assess and make effective provisions for public and employee safety in accordance with legislated requirements.    

Distribution System Integrity Engineer Qualifications:

- Degree in Industrial Systems, Environmental Systems, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- Class 5 Drivers License

Experience with the following software would be beneficial
MS Excel, MS Word, SharePoint, ESRI GIS
