Lake Country Co-op is currently accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Person position for the many facilities of our association.
Primary Job Functions
Provide prompt, personalized Legendary Service to all of our members and guests. General DIY project tasks like painting, patching and carpentry/construction along with intermediate plumbing and electrical knowledge. Responsible for completing maintenance tasks and for carrying out the planned maintenance program for the entire association. Ensure all properties and facilities operate in a clean and safe manner. Provide information and assist on all inquiries.
Required Skills
-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to operate equipment/tools in a safe manner
-Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
-Knowledge and experience of exterior/interior painting
-Valid drivers license; some travel required
-Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Extensive physical labour is required
-Attentive to detail and able to remain calm under pressure
Desired Skills/Experience
Maintenance/construction/carpentry experience is considered an asset.
Reporting:
Reports to the Maintenance Manager.
