The Advisor, Industrial Health & Safety will provide leadership, education, communications, programming and initiatives that promote the University's Health and Safety Management System. A thriving culture of safety supports the University's academic and research mission.
Health and safety responsibilities include: development of University-wide standards, guidelines and programs in compliance with leading practices and various federal, provincial and municipal legislation and statutes that govern health and safety; working with academic, administrative and research units to support the University in implementing  leading practices and regulatory requirements; research, develop and deliver educational programs to the university community; providing expertise and advice on health, safety and prevention initiatives; and the creation of strategies that support a safe and healthy University community.
