Responsibilities include:
Responsible for main reception area, including greeting and orienting visitors, managing the phone and processing mail.
Assist the team through general administrative and clerical duties including organizational change memos, preparing correspondence and documents, administering the ARC Team Section in Sharepoint, SAP time entry, travel coordination, meeting organization, maintaining the HR electronic filing system.
Provide Training and Recruitment Assistance.
Lead special projects such as ARC Long Service Awards, Take Our Kids to Work Day and other projects as requested
Providing coverage and support to other administrative assistants as requested.
Possible support for other departments for report writing, compilation and formatting.
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
Grade 12 or equivalent with a post-secondary certificate or diploma from a recognized business school, plus 1 to 3 years experience in an office setting.
Must be stress tolerant in showing ability to handle administrative duties for teams that require continuous multitasking and prioritization assessments
Strong attention to detail
Must exhibit strong initiative and be reliable to deadlines
Key knowledge and understanding of information sharing and information management
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel etc.) and ability to demonstrate both typing speed and accuracy
Customer service experience
Strong business communication skills in order to assist with drafting various documents
