The ABE instructor will provide instruction and tutorial support to adults registered in level 10-30 math and science courses. Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to Science 10; Physical Science 20, Biology 30, Chemistry 30, General and Applied Math, and Statistics. The instructor may also be required to teach other subject areas as assigned. Additional duties include classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis; monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis; and other duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this position are a Bachelor of Education with a major in Mathematics and/or Science; a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate; and experience teaching level 30 courses. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
