Position Overview
The role of Project Manager is to manage multiple project operations safely on a daily basis. This includes communicating and coordinating daily project goals with Team Leaders/Labourers.
Responsibilities:
Taking leads and opportunities and turning them into quotes and tenders
Have a comprehensive understanding of what is required to create a scope of work in detail
Additonal Requirements:
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise Team Leaders and other team members and influence them to
take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Position Requirements:
Formal Education & Certification
1 year remediation/abatement work experience.
3-5 years Project Management Experience
2 day asbestos training certificate
Mold awareness
Knowledge & Experience:
3-5 year direct work experience in a leadership role.
Demonstrated experience in the mold remediation field and asbestos abatement.
Technically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Encircle and iphone apps
Personal Attributes:
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Flexible during times of change.
Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
Work Conditions:
Overtime may be required within base salary to meet project deadlines
Physically able to set up and participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings
Some travel may be required as got mold?TM provides services throughout Saskatchewan & Alberta
Responsibility for safety:
Prevention of injuries and illnesses must be given priority over operating productivity
Participate in investigations of any and every incident, promptly and thoroughly
Wear required and specialized PPE at all times in all work areas where it is required
Report all unsafe acts, conditions and near miss incidents to your Manager
