Working under the Manager, Data Quality and Standards, this role is responsible for identifying, investigating and electronically resolving linkages and data integrity issues within various data repositories. As part of the data quality team you will run data quality monitoring reports and investigate abnormal conditions or irregularities that are detected, and may be asked to assist with business services related to requirements, documentation, implementation, training and incident management and support. Additionally, you will be asked to participate in acceptance testing of new releases of program applications.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently with minimal direction and must demonstrate confidentiality, accuracy, flexibility and initiative.
Education and Training:
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a baccalaureate degree or diploma in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or Clinical discipline combined with information management/technology education and training. Experience using health system applications is extremely beneficial.
CHIM designation is preferred.
