Facility: KELSEY TRAIL HEALTH REGION ADMIN
Job Description: This position contributes to the overall administration of internal and external recruitment and retention activities and is a primary resource person to internal stakeholders.  The position supports on-boarding and related training activities, and provides support to other HR functions as required.

Using Collective Agreements and RHA recruitment policies, this position supports internal and external recruitment activities and processes including the maintenance of the Gateway Online Job Posting Software system; posting and/or external advertising of positions; reviewing applications and related documents including pre-screening applicant seniority and qualifications; and sending notifications results to the unions.  Job description available upon request.
                                              
Researches HR Policies and Procedures as required.

Assists in the development and implementation of training initiatives.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Post-secondary education (degree) in business/commerce/administration, preferably majoring in human resource management.
Experience
A minimum of one year experience in a human resources position wwithin a health care setting would be considered an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license, where required by the job
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Communication skills
Must be proficient in all computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation applications
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
