Facility: Ile a la Crosse Community Services
Job Description: The Public Health Nurse delivers a full range of community-based Public Health Services including pre and post-natal care, immunization, health counseling. You will also prepare and present information on various health issues/topics to individuals, families and groups.

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor Degree in Nursing
-Immunization Competencies Course
-Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) as an RN (NP) or RN (GNP)

-Ability to communicate with and maintain an effective working relationship with clients from diverse social, economic and cultural backgrounds
-Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
-Assessment skills

-Knowledge of community development
-Knowledge of diverse health issues, culture and traditions
-Knowledge of population health
