Summer Student JobThe Summer Recreational Workers role is to develop
a positive relationship with the individuals they
will be providing support to, while implementing
and planning recreational activities for persons
with disabilities. The focus is planning and
implementing community outings, social activities
and activities within the Home. The Summer
Recreational Worker will work as part of a team
under the direction of the Respite Home Manager.
The Summer Recreational position is full time
hours, and the successful candidate is expected to
work every second weekend.
Qualifications:
Educated within the field of working with persons
with disabilities and experience working with
persons with disabilities.
Must be flexible and able to adapt to the
individual needs of the persons you would be
supporting.
Must be able to work independently while still
maintaining a team approach to providing services.
Valid Driver's license and a reliable vehicle is
necessary.
