Position: Hotel Management Trainee
Starting Date: Position available ASAP
Pay: Hourly - TBD
Employment: Full, 40 hour.
Super 8 by Wyndham Regina is a 108 room, limited service, franchised hotel located in Regina, SK.
We are looking for service minded candidates who have experience in both front desk operations and housekeeping. Candidates are expected to understand and perform jobs in ALL departments. Candidates will be expected to assume a supervisory position within a year; and willing to assume managerial positions as experience and performance goals are met. Candidates must lead by example, earn the respect of subordinates and able to lead a team effectively.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We prefer candidates with hospitality industry experience and education; however, we are willing to train candidates from other industries who possess the right mix of enthusiasm, attitude and qualifications. New immigrants who have comparable industry experience are also encouraged to apply.
Job Description
- Perform all hotel front desk functions
- Perform all housekeeping functions
- Understand basic hotel maintenance
- Basic understanding of hotel IT
- Basic food safety and breakfast room operation
- Perform basic HR duties.
- Other directions given by management
Education & Experience
Diploma or degree in hospitality or business management.
At least 2 years in Front Desk, Rooms Operation or Marketing.
