The City of Swift Current is inviting applications for a Foreman to work in the Water and Wastewater Collection Department.  This position is permanent full-time.  

Under the direction of the Superintendent of Water and Wastewater, you will supervise and direct staff on daily duties and assignments in keeping with operational requirements.  Other responsibilities include, overseeing contractors, participating in the training, evaluation and ongoing practices of safety policies and procedures, customer service, equipment operation, flood control & monitoring, emergency call-outs and determining onsite locates of water, sanitary and storm lines as requested by SaskFirst Call.  

Basic Requirements:    
Grade 12;
Supervisory experience;
Class 5A Drivers License;
Willingness to obtain a Criminal Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check;
OH&S Level 1 & 2;
PME training;
Ground Disturbance;
Confined Space;  
H2S;
Traffic Accommodations;
Rigging / Tie-down Training; and
Must be physically fit and able to perform outside physical labour at all times of the year including various weather conditions and temperature extremes.

Desirable Requirements:
Class 3A Drivers License;
5 years of general equipment and overall knowledge of municipal infrastructure; and
5 years of supervisory training & experience.
