Description

The Administrator will be expected to assist in the preparation, delivery and wrap-up of five summer music camps to be held in Regina, Saskatoon, North Battleford, Prince Albert and Yorkton in July and August.  Home base for the Administrator will be Regina.  

Under the direction of the Camp Coordinator, the Administrator will be responsible to assist with delivery of the camps.  This will include planning, preparation and on-site student and staff management and problem solving.  The Administrator will also assist with a camp evaluation with students and staff and gather statistics, quotes and pictures for presentation in a final report.

The Administrator will be required to travel to Saskatoon, North Battleford, Prince Albert and Yorkton for those camps.  Mileage, shared accommodations and a meal allowance will be provided for travel and camp days outside of Regina.

The successful candidate will be mature, responsible, well-organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working and have experience working with children and youth.  They will be able to read, write and verbally communicate effectively in English. They must provide a recent criminal record check and have reliable transportation.  A first aid certificate would be an asset as would certificates and/or experience relating to leadership, diversity, and/or program evaluation.

Applicants must have been a full-time student in the previous academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year.  Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant Saskatchewan legislation and regulations.
