Description

The North Saskatchewan Independent Living Centre Inc. (NSILC) is looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual to join its team. As the Employment Services Representative you get the exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of launching a new employment services program in Saskatoon. Our program is designed to aid men and women with disabilities facing challenges in obtaining and maintaining employment in Saskatoon's workforce by providing them with one-on-one support, workshop opportunities and connections to employers.

As the Employment Services Representative you will be responsible for building awareness for NSILC and the new employment services program by developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan. Your main focus will be contacting employers and promoting the program in order to acquire employer partnerships. You will need to acquire and build positive relationships with potential employers to maximize the opportunities available to our participants.

Although employer outreach and marketing will be your primary duty, additional responsibilities include meeting with and supporting participants to assess which employers they would be a good fit for and what skills they may need to work on in order to be successful in the workforce.

You may be a good fit for this position if you:
- Love connecting with new people and forming positive relationships.
- Have sales and marketing experience.
- Know how to create a social media presence.
- Are results motivated and never shy away from a challenge.
- Have your drivers licence and regular access to a vehicle.
- Are a self-starter that works well independently within a team.

This is a six-month contract with possibility for extension. Compensation for this position is $18/hr.  Scheduled hours-per-week are negotiable for the right candidate.

NSILC thanks all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected to proceed in the selection process will be contacted.
